Not breeders. Pets. Watching that little live mouse bop around it's tiny box was the most cheerful, entertaining thing ever. It really brightened my day and my mood.

So. Yeah. My 'no pet rodents while owning snakes' thing is going down the tubes.
They really are a blast to watch. I have enjoyed looking at my rat babies when they play fight and well... when they do ANYTHING I never thought of myself as a rat person until I bottle fed my first one. Love them now and there is no going back.

I really really loved my pet rats but I am going mice deliberately because I'd rather watch than interact . My dogs are so high demands and energy that it's nice to have something cute and cheerful without worrying about its social needs or it wanting things from me a lot.

But I LOVE these mice. They're cute and watching them bounce around just makes me grin.

Plus, decorating the tank is fun.

I can see why you like to keep them around. They look so sweet! I love to watch videos of mice bopping around. It's like they don't have a care in the world

I think I might be figuring out how to get decent mouse pictures.
