Molly, I don't think yours is a fire honey, sorry.
Once you see one in person, even a poor example can be easily picked out. Fires are noticeably lighter in color. They have a great deal of back blushing and should have big flames on their sides coming up from the belly. They should have a completely faded head with a lighter spot in the middle. Even though the snake John posted wasn't the most spectacular as a baby, it is still easily distinguished as a fire.
Now top quality fires on the other hand are ridiculously easy to pick out. For example:
