Our 4 month old bumbe bee does the exact same thing. About 4 days after eating he becomes very active, right up until we feed him again on day 7. When we first got him (about 2.5 minths ago) he was forever in hiding. Only coming out to drink and eat. Now he's settled in and feeling more comfortable with us. We love it!! We all get hypnotized watching him move around and hanging from the foliage inside the tank. He will move right into the palm of our hands now every time we open the tank. I love their little personalities
