I feel that way all the time about living in the apartment I rent. Even apart from the issue of having to get the ok from the landlord for anything we get, the space limitation really sucks. I keep seeing posts by people who have whole reptile rooms devoted just to the hobby and I just dream of the day that I can find a place where I can go crazy without any of those restrictions. For right now, I just try to remember that I could be somewhere that pets were not allowed at all, so by comparison it isn't so horrible, but the freedom to just pursue any acquisiton I see would be amazing. Maybe someday, in the mean time I try not to think about it too much.
