    How hard is Hatching?

I came across a female ball python who laid 10 eggs last year and has been breeding with a banana male this year. she is being sold for 450$ is this a good deal? if so it would be my first clutch. so is it difficult to hatch eggs? what about maternal incubation? just general imformation on hatching eggs and incubators would be greatly appreciated as i do eventually plan on breeding my male pied

What morph is the female, if any? Laying 10 eggs is above average for a ball python female. There are quite a few threads already here that detail how to care for eggs through hatching. You also have the choice of maternal incubation.

    There are unknown here

$450 for what kind of female? If normal no it's not worth it normal females sale for $150

Because she is being paired to a banana male does not mean she will take, until she ovulates there is no guarantee, even than she can still lay slugs.

Thank you very much for your insight, yes she is a normal female so I guess I will pass then. I think the seller was taking into account that if she did lay and they got bananas, you would make your money back right there... anyway thanks again, gives me more time to prepare

Even if she takes and lays 10 eggs and they all hatch and you hit average odds, I don't think you make your money back "right there".

    $450 + cost of incubator +cost of hatchling care > 5 X mid 2015 male banana price
