what veterinarian grade cleaner is the best for an Animal Plastics enclosure?
Hey all!
I just assembled my T-10 enclosure for my BP. I am just wondering what professional cleaner would work best for this set up.
Also, this enclosure is too big for her now. Would anybody recommend holding out a few months to put Gozer in her new home, or would it be better to put her in it with a lot of hiding places for her.
Thanks in advance!

I know some people use F10 Veterinary disinfectant, or Chlorhexadine to clean their cages.
I use a bucket of water, with a little dish soap, and a capful of bleach.

I use dawn dishwashing liquid to clean and Chlorhexidine solution to disinfect.
It's best to stay away from ammonia based cleaners when cleaning plastic. Ammonia will cause certain plastics to shrink and crack. I can never remember which kind of plastic ammonia affects so I just stay away from it entirely.

Looks like everyone covered the cleaning, but as far as putting her in the cage now, I'd say go for it. Clutter it up, add some extra hides and see how she takes to it.

I would recommend F10SC if you can get some. Otherwise 50/50 mix of vinegar and water works also.
