Dreaming about being a hobby breeder - how about you?
I would be the first to admit that I am clueless when it comes to morphs, but there are a few that have caught my eye, especially the orange dream. I have been daydreaming (no pun intended) about pairing my normal with an orange dream so that I have a few to choose from, and then pairing orange dream with super pastel. I think orange dream pastels are fantastic, and who knows? If I someday have success with breeding, maybe I could start looking at a long term project of some sort. What about you guys? What is your "dream morph" or phenotype?

Make sure you breed what you like, but go for it for sure when your ready. I actually love Spotnose stuff and pattern morphs especially Spinners, I am not even sure if that stuff is popular, don't care lol.
I'm excited to put my Butter/Spotnose to my Pastel Leopard and my Pewter females. I will hopefully be putting a Spinner combo to my Firefly and Enchi Lesser Pastel...can't wait. Just have to stay focused and stay the course.
Orange Dream stuff is awesome in combos. What is your favorite Orange Dream combo morph?

I'd love to breed an orange dream that is simply black and orange, like a tiger, although I like to see some white coming up from the belly side. I feel like I could get close to that with an orange dream pastel, and the spider gene also provides nice results. I'm sure I'm thinking small simply because of my lack of knowledge. What I like so far is defined by pictures of what I have seen, and I know there are many more combos to try. I think it would be neat to produce a pure orange ball python, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I would probably need to look into, for instance, how to produce darker colors to offset the orange. I think it would also be neat to figure out how to reduce the pattern completely to produce an orange ball. Do you know of any good threads/books/websites that have good explanations about the different genetic combos and how they affect phenotype?

Isn't that what we all are? Lol I started to get into bps because of my boyfriend. He inspired me to like a snake when he got one. And then a year later we had 7 together. And then a year after that we had I want to say 30 snakes. Love them. Now with the babies and all our breeders. I want to say we have close to 60. It's crazy. I never thought I have so many. Lol

Yikes! I'm way too lazy to care for a collection that size. I think my goal is to ultimately end up with three... although even that is two more than I had originally planned on. I guess it's back to BP Anonymous for me.

I've got some blue eyed leucistic complex snakes, some cinnamons, and I'm trying to get a nice albino base going. I specifically want an albino pastel male (and maybe a female of the same), since I somehow skipped adding pastel into my little group and I just like the way albino pastels look (also albino cinnamons and pewters). While we're talking about what we're dreaming about, I recently saw a picture of a GHI mojave and fell in love. I'm such a sucker for the high contrast coloring.
