    Going to shed soon?

Noticed this on my BP (her eye)
Is she going to shed soon?
Her belly isn't pink at all, and can't find other signs of possible shed...

    Thanks!

I cant really see anything in the pic. Without any other signs of a shed it may be a stuck eye cap. Did the last shed go well?

Yes and it just appeared a few days ago..
There's actually nothing much to see except the outline of the eye

Rather than trying to describe what it looks like when a BP goes into shed I would direct you here where you should find some good examples.

The outline of the eye looks fine? Are you concerned about the white slivers in the front and back? They look like skin, but I agree with KMG you can't really tell what you are pointing at... if it IS the white slivers, are they on the eye or around it? If the answer is around it, then I would guess it is just skin. But if it is on the eye I would again agree with KMG that it might be a stuck eye cap. If it IS a stuck piece of shed on the eye then DO NOTHING except increase humidity on the next shed and keep her shedding well. If it does not go away after a couple of sheds or gets worse, bring her to a vet. Do NOT try to remove it yourself.

But honestly it doesn't look like anything is wrong.

    Re: Going to shed soon?

Well I guess I don't have to worry anymore then
It's just around it.. It will probably get off by itself or during her next shed

    Thanks for the help :-)
