Not sure if she has eggs
I need the same male to two females. The one female showed signs of ovulating and also stays on her cool side and wrapped around the water bowl but still hasn't laid a clutch while the smaller female surprised me and laid almost two months ago and I didn't even think she had eggs. I witnessed multiple locks with this male and both females. The larger female still showing some signs of being prego and not eating.
If some thing isn't right will the female absorb her eggs? Any thoughts?

Re: Not sure if she has eggs
So if the male locked more with this girl and already and fathered a clutch already this season with another chances are she is just taking a long time?.... I hope
I did notice she just shed tonight.

Re: Not sure if she has eggs
Start a countdown if she just shed today should be about 27ish days before she lays if she is gravid!

Re: Not sure if she has eggs
Hi,
Cool seeking is more associated with the building stage ( before ovulation ) - you may have just seen a big build.
After ovulation most of mine are glued to the hot end like a tramp on chips.
