how long before RI would set in?
How long would a BP need to be exposed to high humidity before they get an RI? I ask because i changed out the substrate in one of my tubs which was still slightly damp and the humidity has been at 85% for the last 4-5 hours. it should go down by 10% or so within the next day which is fine cause she is about to shed. Im just slightly worried about the exposure to it

You should not have any issues. Vent it out a couple times a day to help it dry out a bit.

Respiratory Infections are not caused by humidity or temperature. They are caused by disease organisms.

Re: how long before RI would set in?
The humidity in their natural environment is over 80% during a big chunk of the year. Your humidity can be 95%and be fine as long as the substrate isn't wet and there isn't condensation on the walls.

Having condensation on the walls does not cause an RI.
Poor cleaning practices plus high humidity creates favorable conditions for bacterial overgrowth. This bacterial overgrowth CAN result in an RI.
