The kids and the hubby and I all went as splicers from the video game Bioshock. We had wanted to do these costumes last year but chickened out because it seemed like they would be a ton of work (they were) but the kids got first place in our local costume contest in their age category, which was 5-8 so they were pretty much up against superheroes and cute animals lol. Still, I think they wound up looking pretty creepy.
