    Super Pastel Super Blade Clown

She just hatched out and I'm thrilled with her. I started my Clown project years back purchasing the most reduced patterned Hets that I could from BHB. I raised them up and made the mistake of purchasing a Super Pastel 66% Het Clown male which I used for two seasons and produced 0 Clowns. Knowing that I couldn't sell the Pastel 50% Het Clown females for squat, I kept them all.I then bit the bullet and purchased a Pastel Blade Clown from Sean Bradley at EBN and the last two years have been excited with the results. This year the first of my Pastel 50% Het Clown females laid and this is the result. Thanks for looking. Dale Porcher DVM

Re: Super Pastel Super Blade Clown

Amazing!! I'm not terribly familiar with the Blade gene or how it works (the WOBP Super Blades are pretty sweet looking, though).
If you breed a Pastel 50% Clown x Pastel Blade Clown, where does the Super Blade come from? Or were your Pastel hets also het for Blade?

Re: Super Pastel Super Blade Clown

Markus Jayne and Sean Bradley both purchased reduced Clowns from BHB. They both were getting reduced patterned Hets from their original animals. Markus Jayne has coined this reduction gene "Blade". So to answer the question, my Pastel 50% Het Clown female is reduced pattern or " Blade" also from BHB's line. Two of her Pastel sibs are also Blades and expecting them to lay any day now. I'm hoping that they prove out as well. Thanks

    That is truly stunning.

Does it remind anyone else of the flatline?
