    Depends on your ambient temps if they are really low you can add a second UTH and second thermostat to maintain proper temps gradients and provide a cool side within acceptable range.

    That would mean 1 UTH providing a cool side of 78/80 and 1 UTH providing a hot side of 88/90.

    This is the most logical way to maintain proper temps with only 1 or 2 animals
