Re: Bird Perches for BP?
They definitely do climb. My 1000g girl loves to climb. She does this at least a couple of times a week.

Re: Bird Perches for BP?
I just bought my BP an elevated shelf. It is for turtles and is a floating platform. I used suction cups to keep it elevated inside my girl's enclosure. She LOVES it! She sometimes hangs out on top of the platform, or likes to stretch out by having half of her body on the ground and half on the shelf. It does depend on the snake though.

Re: Bird Perches for BP?
Mine loves to climb and has a fake thick and sturdy branch. She uses it every night!! It is also perfect for her to get right in front if the door opening so she can climb into my hand

My lesser looks very similar, and he does the same thing on his fake plant! He'll climb right up on the leaves and just hang there.

Ball pythons climb and they do it well.
However, if your experience with them is limited to tupperware tubs, then I can see why you may be confused and think they cannot climb.
In fact they are good enough climbers that birds make up a sizable part of their diet.
Yes, you heard that right, they eat birds and they climb.
