    It sounds like you are right. A spray bottle should be fine, you don't need humidity on a regular enough basis to require a mister I don't think.

    If you have a screen topped enclosure you can also lay a towel or something over it to slow down the air movement. This will still let oxygen through but also keep some moisture in. If you like this idea then something like tinfoil works better on a long term basis but then you'd obviously have to leave some method of air movement.
