    I had this very same issue a few years ago ... with an Albino Royal Python ..

    I soaked the snake in a secure container , 90% full of snake temp water , for 30 minutes and then got a soaking wet towel and let the snake crawl through the towel repeatedly ... as soon as the head came out if the towel I covered it over again and kept letting it crawl around in the towel , making sure I was putting gentle pressure on its eyes , if that all makes sense .

    Anyways , the eye caps came off and she broke her feeding fast the next day !!!

    She also looked bladdy stunning !!
