    Opinions on this spider?

OK so I hatched this one spider that does not look like any other spider I've seen. I don't know if there is something strange going on or if some spiders just get this type of coloration. I'll let others be the judge.

First off, this is a typical spider that I hatched. This is what I expect a spider to look like. Brown background with whitish sides.

And I think we can all agree this hatchling is a fire spider.

But what's up with this one? Has anyone else seen this kind of coloring on a spider? I thought she was a fire spider at first, but now I can see that's not the case. What do you guys think is causing this coloration? Or does it even look unusual? It's almost green in person.

Here are the three together for comparison. Spider on the left, fire spider on the right, weird one in the center.

Happy to hear any thoughts. Thanks for looking.

No that girl came from a fire spider x normal. The fire spider baby and spider baby are only half siblings though. Same fire spider dad but different mom. I'm wondering if he donated the green somehow but I really don't know.

I don't really see anything going on there expect a nice normal spider. The pattern seems to fit, it's probably just a super light high white spider...give it a shed or two and it should be a little more prominent if there is anything else going on.

OK thanks. I've just never seen that green on one like that. Especially down the sides too. It's really pretty in person, almmost like someone dipped her in highlighter fluid. Sadly the camera can only pick up so much of it. Well, it's certainly not going to hurt my feelings to hold onto her for a little while and see how she develops.

I agree with Kevinb, it looks like a nice high white spider. I would hold onto it for a bit and see if the white brightens and the yellow comes down a bit. As for a spider though the ones that are higher white with the greenish coloring are more like the original from what I've seen. There is a picture of one like this in McCurleys morph book on page 189 that she could turn out to look like which would be really sweet!

Pictures of the parents? She's pretty. We hatched a very high gold spider like that but I think it's just a variation in the gene like with the amount of white.
