BP Water bowls, need advice.
My BP's have a bad habit of tipping their water bowls and in some cases getting in them and flooding their enclosure. I know I can't stop them from soaking but what do you guys use or do to keep their bowls from spilling.
Thanks!

I had the same problem and I now I know how to keep it from happening. The overflow thing still happens from time to time. I have one that I sometimes forget likes to overflow his and I end up filling it too high. But anyway the key to a non-tippable bowl is short, wide, and heavy. Target had some great ceramic bowls that are small, medium, or large, short and heavy. Haven't had one tip yet.

Put a rock in the bowl? maybe burry the bowl a little? I saw a thread yesterday about someone who made untipable bowls from PVC pipe. Do you use tubs or terrariums? and what substrate do you use? I have found its easier for bowls to tip over on mulch than on aspen. Mulch pieces are bigger and therefor more un-leveled. Aspen can be mushed down and flattened easier.
These are just my ideas
Im just throwing around my opinions. Im trying to give as much help as I've received on this website

I use Petsmart's cheapest dog bowl. Its not heavy but its nice and wide and most importantly wider at the base than at the lip.
You won't find a bowl too heavy for a snake to tip but they don't do so by lifting rather by resting on the lip of the bowl. So a bowl that has a base wider than the lip does not tip over.
Not to say they don't soak and overflow it or lift it up ans slosh some water around.

I keep them in tubs with paper towels so burying them is not an option.
I will look into the wide base pet bowls, however I haven't seen the PVC pipe bowls. Can you send me a link?

the concept is that you use pvc pipe to hold disposable deli cups as your water dish

Re: BP Water bowls, need advice.
I can`t see any problem since I`ve started to use this following stoneware water bowl. It`s cheap, heavy and strong.

Either use heavy ceramic bowls (it's a pain on cleaning day if you have a lot of animals), pvc couplers with deli cups or bowls with a wide base that cannot be tipped
I use those now and even the 3000 + girls cannot tip those
