A few questions about R.I
Hi guys,
Been keeping snakes for about 9 years now and haven't really ran across R.I. However, I lost a beloved Boa 3 weeks ago unexpectedly with absolutely no warning signs that she might be sick and since I didn't get a necropsy done I have been keeping an eye on my other snakes to make sure that they seem normal and whatever my Boa had was not contagious.
I have a Butter Ball Python that was housed right under her and over the past week he has been unusually active. I don't know if it was a new hide that I placed in the enclosure, breeding, season, or what could have triggered it, but in the midst of his over-activeness I saw him lay against the wall of the enclosure with his head up in the air for brief occasions. I know that sometimes a sick snake with R.I might do this so I have kept a closer eye on him and last night I was examining his mouth. Nothing stood out at me, but then again I don't know exactly what I am looking for. Along the jaw line it was clean, but I did see very small tiny bubbles. I noticed more after I struggled with him a bit to get his mouth open. Maybe the struggle could of caused it. I hear no wheezing, clicking, or obstructions in breathing when I am handling him. No mucous or bubbles expelling from his mouth or anything either.
The only symptoms I'm going on right now is seeing him a couple times against the wall of the enclosure and those few tiny bubbles in his mouth (but again, mostly after I struggled to get his mouth open). Is this enough to get worried? Are some tiny bubbles normal?
I should add he refused food the last 2 weeks (never was a great eater), but he did eat 2 rats 3 weeks ago and had a perfect shed after.
Thanks in advance.

Here is what happened, one of your other snakes escaped and killed your Boa and left no trace they were there. With your Python right under your boa, HE SAW EVERYTHING. Now he is incredibly paranoid that the other snake will come back and take care of all loose ends. That is why he is unusually active, trying to escape the country into Europe. The best thing for you to do now, is to open a private investigation to find the murderer. (My money is on the normal Ball Python if you have one, he's jealous he is not a pretty morph) You might want to think about the witness protection program for your Butter Ball Python as well.
YOU CANT PROVE ME WRONG UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
But seriously I hope everything turns out ok for you and your snakes
