    Need help with breeding

So i am a new breeder and this is my first season. For the past couple of weeks i have been trying to get the male and females to mate. i put the male with the female and check on them every night and morning. They will not lock. I leave the male in for about 3 days. I have about 3 females and 5 males, all breeding weight size. None of them are locking so its not the snakes, its something i am doing wrong. I've check everywhere on how to breed and follow it step by step and the male and females still will not lock together. I need help, i just want them to mate so i can have my first clutch. i have been very patient. Does anyone have any advice or directions i need to do?

Try on rainy days. Try putting the shed of another male snake in with the female when breeding, it may cause urgency in the male to get first dibs on the female

Mine do the same ... girls that bred nice clutches last year show no interest yet Others have 2-3 locks already. Despite all the advice, I've learned they go when they are ready which makes it frustrating, we have no control. Agree with the weather comment, changes in the barometer seem to make a difference. Best advice, keep trying, be patient and don't give up. It'll happen, good luck!

    Not really

Breeding is more then a few weeks.

Because you do not see a lock does not mean that is does not happen, lock can be from a few hours to 24 or 48 hours at the time.

A male does not need to be paired to a female more then once a month.

    Monitor the weather.

Use sperm plugs from other males and smear them on the females back.

Use sheds from male or females and place them in the enclosure with the animals that you are pairing.

Breeding is about PATIENCE and breeding season for those who have a season is barely starting, don't expect to see any result before a few months.

i just want them to mate so i can have my first clutch
You don't always get what you want, so this is something you need to be prepared for too.
