I have a 2010 male pinstripe ball python. I got him in August, and he has peed for me multiple times. He was just finishing his shed, but he was having a bit of trouble (I need to get something for him to rub on) so I wet a wash cloth and helped him out. We were almost done, and I noticed that he peed on a big towel that was under him. I looked at it, and there was blood on the towel to. I looked at his cloaca, and it looked like he had a prolapse, so I tried to pick him up to see it but it was gone. But the blood definitely came from him. He hasn't eaten in two weeks as of yesterday, and he hasn't pooped. The urates were healthy and normal looking, he isn't lethargic, and he's acting totally normal. I don't know what to do, my dad told me that if he looks healthy on the outside, wait until he pees again and see if the same thing happens. I'm not sure what to do, as I've never dealt with a reptile peeing blood. Any advice is appreciated, I don't know if my dad would be happy about taking him to the vet. I have the money (the money I saved up for a cinny ball python) and I'm hoping that he's okay. I was planning on breeding him to my female but I don't know how that will work if he's peeing blood... I'll try to get a picture of his vent and pee.
