Female cool seeking ?
My female has stopped using her hide since her shed, she's stayed exclusively on her cool side and I've seen her around the water dish a couple of times. I didn't drop my temps but there's a noticeable ambient night drop. She also hasn't fed since before her shed. I'm planning on popping my male in with her on November 15th or 30th. She's 1860 grams and a proven breeder.

Re: Female cool seeking ?
Have you paired her recently? How long have you had her? What are your hot side temps? If she's a proven breeder, she could have retained sperm and is just now using it, but her hot side may be too warm too.

I've had her around 5-6ish months, her hotspot is around 92. She's in the same rack as my other two and they both hug their hotspots.

Please let others chime in, but cool seeking and bowl wrapping is a sign of follicle growth.

In your opinion is a 3 degree ambient night drop enough to kick her into building ?

Re: Female cool seeking ?
It might be, but don't trust only my judgment. Keep track of her weight, watch her feeding, see is she lays inverted or submits other signs of being gravid

Yeah I'm not going to drop, but I do get a natural ambient night drop.
