The males weight gain didn't surprise me, he seems visibly larger. The female on the other hand surprised me, she didn't get longer but she's getting a bit thick. They also both ate and haven't passed their rat yet.

Weighing them before they've passed their rats is kind of cheating. Empty weights (right after pooping, but before a meal) are a much better indicator of actual weight gain. 200 grams in a month is impressive (and definitely not unheard of), but I could weigh some of my animals right after feeding day and claim a 200 gram overnight weight gain!

I always weigh them 3 days after feeding, because that's when I've got them out. I don't remember if they pooped before last time though. The females might be a bit exaggerated but the male is about 3 inches longer, he's almost as big as the female now.
