Pick me...okay not a python escape but.............

My rats live in a room in my barn so when it is feed night I bring in the correct number and size of rats in a very large sterilite container with a converted wire lid. So I do this like twice a week; bring in rats, feed, then bring refused back out to general population in the barn.

My daughter was 4 and like always I brought in the feeder bin. Then I went back outside to complete some tasks. When I came back in I noticed there were not as many rats in the bin that I started with. I went into my daughters room and she ran and hid in her closet and repeated over and over "I sorry I sorry I sorry". Oh no I thought. I asked her "where are the baby rats?". She proceeded to show me two hidden in a shoe box under her bed. I recounted, still one missing I said. She started again with the I sorry. Then she told me he got away! In my house! I told her to show me exactly where he got away. She said...........I forgot. Palm face. Long story short, she finally "remembered" after lots of I sorry, and tears, and I forgets. We find the small scared rat under the natuzzi sofa before any damage. He was the first to be fed. And that concludes my escape story.
