Hatchling females I've seen as low as 200-250 at this point.

Sure just check your well known classifieds sites and of course auctions. I checked for you there are 2014 females for around $250 up right now.

I bought a male a few months back for $175 with a 24x24x18 Exo-terra, heat pad(I trashed), 2 water bowls, 3 hides, 3 fake plants, a digital humidity/temp gage, and the background that came with it... I priced out the enclosure (soon to be used for dart frogs for my son) and interior pieces at over $200. If you look at it that way, the snake was free. lol Found him local on cl.
