Male ball python tail wagging

I've done some searching on here and found articles about females tail wagging, but my male pinstripe has been doing it when he smells my normal male. Do males tail wag? This is my first year trying to breed my ball pythons so kinda curious.

Are you positive he is a male?

I had him probed by someone and they said he probed male. I'm going out for rats tomorrow and the girl that works there said she can probe I guess I should get a second opinion

My male tail wags sometimes when I have him out after I've had out my females. He can smell them and he gets excited lol.

Just give him time. He will figure it out. If this is his first year breeding he's still a newbie to the whole breeding thing so it may take him a little while to make a move on the female lol.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm gonna get him re-promed just in case. If he comes out male again I'll stick him back in with my normal. Got a big proven pastel I really want to take him to as well.

Sweet! Keep us updated. Oh also try pairing them up during a storm. A lot of breeders do that because they say it makes the males frisky lol but it works apparently! So give it a try
