Habitat question
I bought my first Ball about 6 months ago and I just moved her into a larger tank. I would like to put a large branch or something for her to climb on. Is there a website or store that has a good selection of these types of things? Or do most of you make/find your own? Any help would be appreciated.

I also would love to know where or what site i could buy things for my Python, it's in a 40 Gal tank and Arabella is about 2.5 to 3 foot long.

You do know ball pythons are ground dwellers, and don't really need things to climb on, right?

They may not need things to climb on but mine likes to "climb" up onto the thermometer that I have suction cupped to the inside of the aquarium. Eventually she will be too big for that and if she likes to climb I want to let her be happy and climb.

I know most people think that, but it's not very true. If you give them enough space, they'll climb.

I've read they can be found up in trees in their native Africa. I believe it especially since Olaf climbs every chance he gets. When he got out I actually found him up in the windowsill. Oh yeah that (escaping) may be the only reason not to give them things to climb up on lol. Even though that was my fault for not locking his top.

This is so true, I found one of my snakes on a picture frame once I have no idea how she got all the way up there. Ball pythons are great climbers

Yes but he does anyway. He hasn't fallen off and I like the way it looks.

The pet store I go to is called scales and tails. Im not sure if their only locations are in Colorado, but they sell drift wood of all sizes. See if you can find a reptile store. I would type into google "Reptiles stores near <Your Location here>"
Im just throwing around my opinions. Im trying to give as much help as I've received on this website
1.0 Ball Python
2.0 Red Clawed Scorpion
(1.0 means Male right?)
