    Based on the specs and amazon reviews I would not use it for an incubator. For an incubator you want a proportional t-stat, not an on/off model with a temperature swing of +/- 1*C.

    I also didn't see whether it runs wide open or turns off if the unit has a problem. If it fails wide open then it will destroy your eggs in short order, if they get too cool you have a chance to bring them back.

    ETA: if it fails "safe" - meaning, it turns off, it would probably be a good budget t-stat for someone looking to run a UTH.
