I have a ball python go from 1550 to 1850 empty. From September 10th to now any ideas??

for palpation I use the technique that Kobylka shows in his video. Basically you put the snake at the opening of it's hide and as it enters you palpate, that way it is running itself through your hands.

I wouldn't be too concerned with the amount of weight gain, instead I'd be more concerned with her feeding schedule. As long as she's being fed properly (not too much, not too little) whatever weight is gained is 100% ok. And to be honest, I have RARELY seen an "overweight" ball python. I feed pretty good and all my snakes grow and look great.

That sounds fine....just keep feeding her on your normal routine. Some are difficult to palpate because they tense up. You have to handle them for a bit and let them calm down. Then try the Kobylka process mentioned above, it works.
