Sure heat tape isnt, but take alook at the new Heat tape comming in THG... This was deisgned for reptiles giving most even heat through entire surface....Slowly we make things deigned for keeping animals. But hey its up to you! Even having a hydrofarm is better then having nothing at all. Just use foresight, Best of luck!
