The 3 hatched and seem to be ok. It was a clutch from a Fire and Cinnamon. Got a norma,l a firemon and, a wtf. The firemon is kinked near the cloaca and the wtf is ducky with a serious mess of patterning and colors.

This is gone to show me at least how much of an effect temp variation in incubation can have. Particularly (I think excessive heat was a problem) when the eggs dont have time to cool from a heat spike. Like when your incubator has the capacity to keep itself at 88 but not cool itself from 91 so you end up with hot days and not cool enough nights. Since this (color and pattern) information it communicated from the spine, which is also what that animal uses to distribute heat, I think that the messages get influenced by working overtime to deal with the heat.

Any way, I have some new pets too.
I agree that incubation can play a huge roll in the outcome of hatchlings. I like to think incubation temps and humidity were not at play in this case because I hatched out 14 babies from the incubator, 13 of which were completely normal and healthy, with no unexpected color/pattern abnormalities. I also have 4 separate temperature gauges on my incubator because I am paranoid about that kind of thing All of the thermometers agreed with each other through out the entire incubation process. The reason I am paranoid though is because I used a reptibator for my first season of breeding and lost one in the egg as well as the others having very reduced patterns. I am unsure if it was the reptibator causing these problems, or genetics, or something else, but common things happen commonly!! So it was probably the bator.

Anyway, on the subject of my weird little girl. The vet visit went well and she was found to have no glaring abnormalities aside from the obvious head thing. She did have a very full urodeum, but she just peed a massive amount, so that wasn't a major problem. The vet and I decided that her abnormality was most likely similar to muscle dystrophy (as was suggested by someone earlier in another post). It is difficult to know if there is bone involvement at the moment, but we are hoping to line up some radiographs to take a look. She is now eating when assist fed, and today she wrapped her prey as soon as I put it in her mouth. Here is a picture of her as of today...
