    Is this any way to eat a rat?!

    About 7 minutes in, the BP lifts his head right off the ground so he can swallow the rat vertically.
    It's funny to watch but is it typical or has this guy come up with his own way of taking down dinner.



    I wonder if he'll continue in this manner even when the rats get bigger.

    Very common if they have the vertical space to do it. They can eat in tight spaces, too...but my own observations have been that if they have enough space to do it, they prefer to let gravity help with the swallowing process.
