Picked this one up about a month ago. Sold to me as a pastel red tail boa??? It's got a lot of pinks on it. Maybe high pink.

Pastels in boas aren't like ball python pastel... It's not really a heritable trait. It's more an expression of color. Your baby is very clean with LOTS of color, typical of the "pastel" expression. I'd say you were told right. He will stay very light and colorful even as he ages.

Thanks for that info. Very calm snake I wish I had room for more large snakes but this is the one an only larger species I'll be keeping.

Thanks, that's what caught my attention I was going in my local pet store to get dog food and came home with a boa. Lol
