With such a short period of time keeping them, try holding onto them for a while. Keepers can and do cycle through what is 'fun' and what isn't. Some times, it's nice to play with the calmness and relaxed attitudes of most ball pythons. Sometimes it's fun to play with the sassy and interactive beauty snakes.

Sit on em, give it a bit of time, see if you enjoy the display. Ball pythons are cool, but they're just one type of snake out there. Maybe after a while you'll fall back in love with them - everyone goes through phases in keeping. Don't end up like some keepers and kick yourself a couple years from now because you wished you had held on to something that wasn't a ball python.
