    Wrinkle in my bp's eye

Hi everyone. This is my second Ball Python and I've never had a problem with eye caps being stuck, but one of my snake's eyes has a wrinkle in it, and I have tried EVERYTHING to get it to go away. I've tried soaking her, I've tried raising the humidity a little, and nothing seems to work. I've researched for hours but the the only answer I can find is that its a retained eye cap, but I feel like that's not the case because I can see that the eye caps came off when she sheds. I've been dealing with this for months and I don't know what to do. I would love to go to a vet, but exotic vets around here are seriously expensive and unfortunately I don't have that kind of money Any opinions on what it might be or what I can do would be greatly appreciated. I love my snake so much and I want her to be as healthy as can be. Also, her eyes seem to stick out more than any other snake I've seen. I have no idea if she's bug eyed or what...I'm new here so once I figure out how to post a picture I will lol Also, sorry for all the typing, I just wanted to give as much detail as I could.

I have had this happen with mine occasionally, the eyecap will appear dented or warped. This has always gone away with the following shed with mine. Unfortunately I don't know what causes it, but I have always raised humidity in response.

She's due to shed fairly soon. I'll see what happens then. She has had good sheds so I'm just totally confused with this. Thank you though, I hope it goes away this time!

So here's some crappy pictures from my cellphone (I don't have a fancy camera) but you can kind of see how the lighting shows the wrinkle in the eye. And the other picture is just to show how her eyes slightly stick out. Is this normal? Or am I wrong about them sticking out? I've just seen so many other Ball Pythons and none of their eyes stick out this much.

You never notice details on other snakes like you notice the ones on your own.

I don't think there's anything wrong with her eyes as far as them sticking out.

The dent is usually caused by low humidity. If upping the humidity hasn't helped yet, keep the humidity up, wait until she sheds then check again and reassess.

Okay well I'm glad to have a different opinion on her eyes, thank you! She's turning pink so she will be shedding soon. I guess we will see how it looks when she's done. Thanks guys
