    They're easy to take care of unless they get sick then you have your work cut out. I had one live well over 20 years with me in a 20 gallon tank with papertowl substrate, 1 hide, heat rock and a light. Back then the UTH wasn't as popular as it is now hence the heat rock. I still think they're great for Leopard geckos so maybe just consider a light and a heat rock. I suggest a light just for looks mostly, it doesn't have to be a basking light.
