    Temp question

What should the temp be at night? I keep the cage ambient at 88-92 during the day but at night the ambient is 80ish is that good? I have a red halogen bulb on 24/7 on the cold size and 2 halogens on the hot side during the day side set with timers. Is 80 too low at night?

I think 80° is alright. Mine stays at around 80-82° at night

    Re: Temp question

Awesome thanks. I may jump up the 25w red to a 50w then during the winter. Hopefully that helps keep it in that range

    Re: Temp question

Your hot side of the tank should be around 88-92. Your ambient throughout the enclosure can be from 78-82. If you have your temps set up to that gradient, you can keep them like that all the time.

Your low side temperature is too low (should be around 80) and your hot side isn't hot enough (should be around 90). Give your guy some more heat!
