I like! I'd be curious to see them in greyscale on different backgrounds, though I'm not sure exactly what. Really art it up.

Cool concept. Really neat pictures, as always.
1.0 Black Pastel Pinstripe
1.0 Reduced Pattern Clown
1.0 Low White Pied
1.0 Hypo Super Enchi

Really cool work! I especially like the Pied, because you can see the head and neck but then the rest of her disappears

Re: A Study in Monochrome
Nice shots. It's interesting to look at these knowing what the colors should look like. Imagine early on trying to go out and identify snakes in the field when the only reference photos were in black and white. I think it may have been pretty easy to mistake a coral snake for a king snake. Thanks for sharing.

That would require some experimenting. You have to be careful that the background is not the same base tone as the snake in monochrome.

Nice pictures. Did you take them with the camera set to black and white? Or did you do that in an editing program? Your pictures are great, to the point that it makes one wish Axanthic would not brown out and we could have adults this cool looking.

I took them in RAW and converted in Lightroom.

Very Awesome! I definitely got to enjoy the pattern more since everything was black and white. Great idea!
