    Nose rubbing?

My girl just shed about a week or two ago (good shed, no problems) and seems fine in every way except i see her rubbing her nose on her tank... Its not excessive but its noticeable. She started before she shed. I checked her mouth and all is well.... Is it just one of those quirky things or could there be something i should keep watch for?

well there's a few different things that could cause her to do this. before i go on the whole RI scare that most people open up with, ill give you the less-serious things. it could be that:
    1. she shed great like you say, but could still have some skin stuck in her nose and its irritating her.
    2. if she has eaten recently, she could be "wiping" her mouth for accidental substrate ingestion or some fur that was pulled out and is stuck. this reason isn't unheard of.
    3. uncomfortable temps/humidity could cause well... irritation and to be uncomfortable. so check those out if you haven't.
    4. she could just be wanting to get out. mine does this sometimes when hes looking for a way out. just hold her or put her somewhere you're comfortable having her slither about. if she still does it, its most likely the 1, 2, or 3. but you say you've checked her mouth and all that, so i doubt its mites or an RI, UNLESS there's the obvious RI noises, etc. either way, just pay attention to her for a little while outside of the tank. if none of these seem to be what it is, she could just have one of those weird "ticks" that these snakes develop, which also isn't unheard of. my little guy has a few weird ticks to him that are pretty funny. one is dunking his head under water while getting a bath and blowing bubbles good luck!
