That is true; I paid over double for my BTS than I did for either of my snakes. However, cost + reward right?I find there's a lot more interaction and care needed for a BTS than a snake. Still not "a lot" of work/effort, if you think of other pets like dogs or what not, but still more than snakes. Not to mention - at least in Canada - they aren't as wide spread as many pet snake species. It makes sense that they'd cost a bit more. Supply and demand!
