Tub size

Heya,

at the moment my 550 gram female albino and my 500 gram orange ghost female are both in tubs that are 11.4x15.4 inch but those tubs seem to be getting a bit to small for them in my opinion.

now my question is, would it be ok to move them to a bigger tub that is;

15.4x22.4 inch

or would it be better to wait a but longer?

The size you're looking to move to are only slightly bigger than the ones your snakes are currently in, so you could move up if you wanted. You could probably start looking for the adult size tubs you intend to keep them in and get those prepped. They are getting close to the size that I would just bump them up and let them finish growing in a larger tub.

hmm that leaves me with 2 tubs to fill up after i moved the other 2 to the bigger tubs . ( I dont like empty tubs haha)

Hmm, first next show in Holland is september 14th. Guess i'll be looking for a nice female there

Everyone is different but here's how what I do.

- Hatchlings and anything up to about 600 grams goes in a v-18
- From the v-18 they go into a 32 qt (All the males will stay in a tub this size for life. Most females will stay here for quite some time. They eat, breed, thrive in here just fine)
- If the females get too large for the 32qt, which does happen, they go into a cb70. I have never had a snake that needed anything larger than this.

Haha yeah, i hate empty tubs in my rack unless when the time comes i am waiting for eggs to hatch, i would be more then willing to save some tubs for the baby's
