Adult doesn't wrap?
Hi guys! So Everytime I take Draco out, he unwraps himself and immediately tries to slither down to the floor. He will not wrap around my arm or anything, he just beelines to get away. Why is this? Does he just need to get used to my scent more? He was flicking his tongue a lot on my hand last time he was out, and on my shirt as well.

You said it in your post, he is trying to get away.

Re: Adult doesn't wrap?
You may just have a snake that's not very tolerant of being handled. I have one that's the same way, I only really take her out when I'm cleaning her tub but she's very squirmy and loves to make a beeline to the floor & escape. Is your snake young or older? Younger ones are more flighty, but if your snake is older that's just the way they are lol.

Here is what you asked:
Q. He will not wrap around my arm or anything, he just beelines to get away. Why is this?
A. He is trying to get away.
Q. Does he just need to get used to my scent more?
A. No
Those were the two questions you asked. It all comes down to "he was trying to get away"

Adult doesn't wrap?
At least he doesn't ball... Idk I always took it as a good sign that Olaf doesn't ball, he does wrap around me and will sit still, but he also explores a lot. I just take it to mean he isn't scared or too nervous. Olaf is a baby though.

Re: Adult doesn't wrap?
My pastel het pied Charlie balls up instantly, stays balled for about 5 minutes and when he unballs he actively and quickly explores. I wouldn't say he's afraid he's just real curious..ya know like a dog that runs out of the yard and keeps looking back but then smells something else an runs a little further away.
