New Pueblan Milksnake
Hi am getting a Pueblan Milksnake in about 3 days. The pet shop stipulates that the viv should be up and running for 3 days and they will only release the sale to you after you have recorded adequate temps for 3 days. Just wondering, is the care sheet the same as the thread that is tied here for Honduran milk snakes?
He is about 18 months old and used to handling, have seen his feeding record. He has been in the store for all of his life.
I have a royal python and boa already
Cheers

You can use the care sheet for the honduran as a base for your pueblan. I keep my juvie pueblan similar to how I once kept my hondo. Aspen chips are good for the smaller ones as they like to burrow. Shaved or shredded aspen is fine as well if you use aspen at all. It is a good idea to have your setup 2-3 days prior to getting any animal so there is less stress for making changes to the enclosure right away. Sounds like your pet store is up on making sure their animals go to good homes which is rare.
Please post pics when you get the little guy. Good luck.

Sweet! It sounds like you have an excellent local shop and the owner really cares about the animals.
We have a Pueblan and be glad you're getting one that age that is used to being handled. Ours is just a bit older but he was only a few weeks old when we got him, and he was a very defensive, squirmy, musky little thing! It took a lot of patient handling before he settled, but now he's great to handle.

Unfortunately they had fed him only yesterday, so they obviously didn't let him go today, now picking him up tomorrow evening
