I would get a banana as well. That's what I'am planning on getting next.

if it were me, I would get a morph that was one of my must haves or a morph that would help create one of my must haves within my budget.

Before getting another animal, I would ask myself:

"Why did my bp die unexpectedly"......

I don't have any idea. It appeared to be a healthy snake. No mites, respitory infection, and was eating like a horse. It was in a rack with all my other bps in same controlled environment. It appeared fine one day. Nxt morning dead as a rock.

Re: Advice on picking new male

To answer the money question right now I'm looking $500 and under but in no hurry. If I wait a few months I may be able to double or even triple that. I'd love a banana but outside my budget at the moment.

Although it can happen, if I were you I would wait for a few months before you introduce another snake. What are you going to do if you introduce a new snake, and 2 more of your females die "unexpectedly"? I recognize that you don't want to miss a breeding season, but there are more important things than breeding - like being responsible.

If your dog or cat suddenly died, wouldn't you want to know why? Maybe it's just me - but if my animal dies, I look into it.
