To me that looks like it would eventually heal. There are a couple threads on this forum with pics that the owners have very honerably posted pics throughout the healing process on some rescues. Although someone might know better what that is I could only take a wild guess. I mostly want to say that to recover from bad sheds or scarring in an adult will take a long time. I bought a male a while back with stuck shed all over and even on his head that still has not healed properly and he is in pretty high humidity at all times. I've had a lot of good luck with the petco shed aid products. I would just rub some onto him eventually if it turns out it is stuck shed instead of the more likely case of scarring. I just spray it on and rub it onto my one bad shedder snake who also happens to be snappy and a poor eater, basically he's my problem child. Good luck with the snake whatever it turns out caused that to happen to the poor fellow.
