DIY Caging

Has anyone tried these yet? I'm thinking about setting one up for my female BRB in the largest tub it will accommodate. http://www.gtpfan.com/diy-cages/

Never seen these before but toyed with the idea of making one myself.
Only downside is these must be placed on a shelf or have some sort of supports underneath.
Not to mention the price, for $10 in material tops, and you still need to buy the glass.
