BUT...

PAM is a 0.5% permethrin solution delivered by aerosol. There are alternatives, including mixing the 2 oz bottle of NIX or RID cream rinse (which is 1% permethrin) with 1 gallon of water, and using it as a spray. Permethrin 10 (10% permethrin), available at livestock supply stores like Southern States or Tractor Supply, can be similarly diluted at 3 ml per 2 liters of water and applied as a spray.
