    From what I've read, never do another recessive after a recessive pairing unless it's the same recessive gene. Like with an ax pastel girl, she'll be going to my pastel clown male for her first season, and then the following year, hopefully an ax fire male. That way any non axanthics, I know are from retained sperm. If I weren't going to do ax to ax like that I'd choose a codom male to breed her to the season after pairing her to the recessive gene male.
