well, now that i have my 55 gallon ter set up for knuckles, i have a water fall thingy in there and a water dish for him to provide a good amount of humidity. well, i have a screen lid, so that leaves the terr open to the outside temps and it doesnt keep humidity in very well. i have to spray the tank 10 times a day to keep it around 60% or it will drop to 40%. thus, i kicked my brain into gear, and i devised a really good way to keep that humidity up and also insulate it to keep it warm. get sum sheets of cardboard, and however long u want them, cover them in a black trash bag, and this will help make it a bit mosture proof. i used electrical tape to tape it to the cardboard. then i cut out a hole in the top where my heat lamp sits and i put a 1 inch raduis around the lamp of open space, so my hole is a bit larger than the rim of the lamp. #1 to keep the plastic from melting, and #2 to let air in and out. then i taped my homade card board cover to my screen lid and taped it all around to seal as much of it off as i can. and now, my humidity is up to 90%, but knuckles is in the process of shedding and i sprayed it a very good amout, so it should go back down ina few hours. but i hope taht somone can use this info or maybe add to it. thnx
