Gives yourself even more passion to try and push people to comment on the lacy act additions. Its terrible, there is no moving policy, there is no permit policy, its just strictly none moving across state lines. Sorry for your circumstances, but better to have lost, than to become a felon.

I am so sorry. They were absolutely beautiful. It really isn't fair and the Lacey act is so absurd to me as reptilexperts said. No permit or moving policy, you just can't move across state lines. Absurd! Hopefully they will be cared for just as wonderfully as you've cared for them. They are gorgeous.

I'm sorry, they're gorgeous. It must have been hard to leave them behind.

There was an albino posted for sale in the FB group WV_Reptiles recently, if you're in a position where you can get another one.

i agree the lacy act is really stupid, it really hurts that i couldnt bring them along with me, they were my family, but they are with my ex boyfriend i lived with who i know will take care of them, so at least im able to see updated pics of them as they grow and ask how they are doing, me and him are on good terms with each other thankfully.

i really wish i could get another one, i cant right now since im living with my new boyfriends grandmother and him, shes not very comfortable with large constrictors, shes always been afraid of snakes but we have been working with her and getting her more comfortable around my 2 bps, it will take some time but ill be getting another one either after shes ok with it or when we move into our own place. im also going to want another retic eventually lol i miss the one i had a while back, he was awesome. also do you have the link to the FB group? i cant seem to find it and would love to join it.

No link, but do searches on "WV Reptiles" and "WV_Reptile Watch" to find them.

Also, if you don't have a giant python such as a burm or retic in your possession within the next few months you probably won't be getting one in WV thanks to our stupid new "dangerous wild animal" law. Any that you own when the law goes into effect fully (likely next year) will be grandfathered, after that you can't purchase or breed them.

As it stands right now with the new rules for WV coming up you will also incur an annual fee per snake even if you are grandfathered
